Welcome to Texas Wine Review. This site is an attempt to provide education and information for you, the consumer, about the growing Texas wine industry, and other supportive Texas industries. Soon to come to this site will be an index of the over 130 wineries active in Texas (watch the Featured Winery section at the bottom of each page). I am also looking to include review's of the wines they produce, and of restaurants that favor Go Texas partners or members. |

During the torrential rains of 2007, Lost Creek Vineyards & Winery was flooded to the rafters, literally, when the nearby creek overflowed it's banks. Since then David Brinkman (owner and winemaker) and his crew have been hard at work salvaging what they could of their equipment and inventory, and taking in the 2007 harvest.
On Saturday, March 22, Lost Creek quietly opened a new remote tasting room in nearby Johnson City. If you are touring down in the Hill Country, be sure to stop by this new location, as it is very near to Texas Hills in Johnson City, and on the way to a number of wineries down on US 290 between Johnson City and Fredericksburg.
