Welcome to Texas Wine Review.  This site is an attempt to provide education and information for you, the consumer, about the growing Texas wine industry, and other supportive Texas industries.

Soon to come to this site will be an index of the over 130 wineries active in Texas (watch the Featured Winery section at the bottom of each page).  I am also looking to include review's of the wines they produce, and of restaurants that favor Go Texas partners or members. 

Welcome, Texas Wine Review was launched mid December 2005.  I am slowly adding in features and content to the site.

Some of the planned features or content:

• Quick link to a featured winery on many pages.
• Current news concerning the Wine industry.
• Listing for each winery, including current products.
• Review of the wine's produced in Texas, with a few imports for comparison.
  
• Links to industry related sites (consumer,  grower, and winemaker related).
• Reviews of Texas restaurants.
• Review of other Texas industry products (Craft Brewers, etc).
• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) regarding Wine and the industry.
  

You might note that I have no plans to directly sell wine on this site.  If you like what you read about a given wine or winery, please give them a call and order directly from them (or even visit if you can) as they can ship anywhere in Texas.  For those out of state, check with the winery to see if they are set up for shipping to your state, as they may be required to have additional permits and fees to do so, and they have to balance that with potential orders.
